THE RED REBEL VIP PARTY FOR CHARITY
December 11 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm$40
It’s the Annual Red Rebel VIP Party for Charity
Founder of Queen City Collaborative and The Red Rebel herself,
Gwendolyn A. Bork.
After a SOLD OUT event last year, over 130 people gathered at 99 Brick Oven & Bar, we went bigger and better to allow for a larger audience in hopes of making an even larger impact for our local nonprofits in the suburbs of WNY keeping our youth addiction free and with a home.
In 2018, we raised $6500
We funded 3 non-profits that support youth development or empowerment.
$1500 went to BB&G Charities and we sent 6 young men to Camp Hickory Hill over the summer of 2019
$1500 went to Empower Camp where we sent 10 young women to this Camp over the summer of 2019
$1500 went to FOCUS: Youth Addiction Prevention Coalition for the Lancaster/Depew Community 2018-2019
$1000 went to Plymouth Crossroads: Youth Boys Home for Christmas presents for the young men in this transitional housing 2018
In 2019, our goal is to raise $10,000
Their Mission is to: Prevent, Promote and Collaborate. Prevent and reduce substance use among our youth. Promote factors that minimize the risk of substance use through education, drug free events and youth empowerment. Collaborate with the 12 established federal sectors of the community ranging from Youth, Parents, Businesses, Law Enforcement, Gov’t, Faith Based, Schools, and Media to carry out our mission.
Plymouth Crossroads is a not-for-profit organization which welcomes disconnected, abused and homeless young men ages 16-20. We are also in the process of expanding our program to young women ages 16-20 for a Buffalo facility. We provide a safe home and caring staff that help youth develop their own plan for an independent path to their future. Our transitional program offers support for education, job training & placement and life skills support at no cost to residents.
